Haystack Cookies for summer Fun!

Decided to add a recipe to my post which is fun to make in the summertime, as it doesn't need to be baked in the oven. It is called Haystack Cookies----

Haystack Cookies look like little brown haystacks with hay sticking out on all areas of the cookie.

Ingredients are as follows:

3 cups quick cooking oatmeal

1 cup shredded coconut- unsweetened

1/2 cup salted butter

1/2 cup milk, either powdered and mixed with water or regular milk of your choice.

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1 1/2 cups of sugar or 1 cup of pure #1 honey

Instructions:

1. In a 3 quart medium sized bowl, stir together oatmeal and coconut.

2. Add butter, milk, cocoa powder and sugar over medium heat.

3. Whisk gently together as butter and sugar melt and come together with cocoa powder and milk.

4. pour chocolate mixture into a bowl with oats and coconut and stir together until all ingredients are coated with the chocolate mixture.

5. Drop by tablespoon onto a baking sheet which has been lined with parchment or wax paper and place in the fridge for 30 minutes to cool and harden. Enjoy!
